Brenton gave me this cute little bag for Christmas. He knows this is a quote that I live by and actively work to create myself. This is a process that I have worked hard to perfect. Every day, I work on finding what makes me happy and what my strengths are in my personal life and my business.  I even have a pouch with index cards in them that I carry with me in my purse.

Some of the things that I do is try new things, journal what I am feeling and what I think, and create lists and dream boards of what I desire for the future. This keeps my mind focused on what it will take for me to create myself. It also allows me to try things that will help me create myself.

Sometimes, when I get to a certain place, I realize that I have to change. These points may be that I am dealing with depression, anger, disorganization, or frustration due to a situation I am going through.  At this point, I add some things to my list and vision board. Change is okay. Many times we have to change to create ourselves. The end product may not be what you thought it would be, but you may be amazed that it is just as wonderful. It will be an improved you.

I choose to create myself. What do you choose?

Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.

-Bradley Whitford
