This is a question that I have asked my whole life. Finally, the answer came my way. You have to step out of your comfort zone and take inspired action. Yesterday, this is what happened to me.
Most of my life, I tried to live as comfortable as I could. Today, I can tell you living a comfortable life is horrible. It causes depression and anxiety because deep down in your heart you realize you are not really happy and doing anything that is meaningful.
God gave me one life and I want to make the most of it. Yesterday, I got an email that I knew was inspired action I needed to take. My favorite success coach was offering a retreat that only would be available to 26 people.

I knew right away this is something I wanted. In my heart, I knew I needed to fill-out the application even though my bank account did not have the $15,000.00 I needed to pay for the trip. When a few minutes after I turned in the application, one of the trainers called and said she wanted to set-up a meeting with me, I said yes and set up a time.
This is amazing for me. In the past, I would have run and hid. There was no way I would be progressive and take the steps to needed to get into this group. As I am sitting here writing this blog, I am still in shock because I was given the news that I was one of the 26 chosen for the retreat.
“Now what?” You are thinking. Now, I wait patiently for inspired action to receive the money I need to get enrolled in the group and start planning my trip. Right now, I know you are thinking, “Is she scared she won’t get the money?”
I am not going to lie to you. As I am writing, I am going through all my affirmations to calm myself down. No one is exempt from feelings that arise when moving out of your comfort zone.
Yet, I know that I am going to that retreat. There is something inside me that says I am ready for something more and this is how God is going to give it to me.
Yes, I do not know how but it is not my job to know how. It is my job to fan the flames of my burning desire for this retreat. It is my job to accept inspired action. One inspired action I have already completed, I filled out the application and completed the interview.
Another inspired action came to me after the interview. I felt the need to write this blog. Someone, somewhere, needs to hear about the impact getting out of my comfort zone will have on me. People need to understand what I go through each time I go into new territory. They need to know the process I take to eliminate limiting beliefs and blocks that try to steal my dreams and burning desires.
I am victorious even now. Right now, I may not see the money but I know it is there and ready for me to use. My trip to this awe inspiring trip is paid for and I am getting prepared to go through a week of transformation.
Challenge: I know this is my personal story but I still have a challenge for you. You need to look where you are settling and staying in your comfort zone. Is there something you want to do but are too scared to do it. It is usually the area where you are making excuses.
This is so important to me that I wrote a second blog for today. I already posted one this morning. I thought this would be one of next week’s blog but I am posting as soon as it is finished. Why? Because we are all in this together. As I pick up your burden and help you get out of your comfort zone, I need you to help me with mine. How? Pray for me, encourage me, and tell me a story where you got out of your comfort zone and what you did through the process.
Thank you for everyone’s support.
